Grandma Lowe, birthdays and a lemonade stand

We just got back from a fun weekend of river rafting on the Salmon River, near Riggins, ID (I'm still working on that post). Very soon after we got back from our 4th of July weekend fun, Jeremy got back in the car and headed to Green River, UT for his Grandma Lowe's funeral. We all wanted to go but with everything we have going on right now, decided Jeremy better just go this time. Grandma Lowe's funeral is Tuesday and we will be thinking of her. We love all our grandmas and grandpas and will all make the trip to UT some time soon. Jeremy left with a toothbrush, a change of clothes, a sleeping bag and a fly rod. He worries me sometimes, but fortunately he arrived in UT safely. We are all missing Dad and wishing we could have gone with him to see family. However, we are keeping busy while he is away.

Today Cole had a birthday party, made a lemonade stand with a neighbor, had pictures for baseball and played in a baseball game this evening. Thanks Dad for the encouraging message you left on the answering machine wishing Cole a good game. He loved it. We were all pretty tired by the end of the day. Cole and Bryce have another birthday party to go to tomorrow evening and I'm just still trying to do laundry, unpack from our weekend trip and keep up with the boys.

There is currently some construction going on by our house so Cole & his friend, who is visiting his grandma (our neighbor) from Texas, set up a lemonade stand in our driveway directly across from where the workers are. They got quite a bit of business from generous construction workers and nearby neighbors.

In between buying b-day gifts and baseball, Bryce wanted to take a picture of me and Cole. He took a few that just didn't quite work out. I took one of the three of us. We were all laughing pretty hard after the photo session.

Bryce is quite the budding photog! What a fun weekend you had, glad that you were safe on those rapids. (and so glad you're home!)

As for lemonade, we'd like 4 glasses, please!
