Santa and a horse

We took Cole and Bryce to the holiday open house at the Appaloosa Museum here in Moscow again this year. Santa always arrives on his horse. The boys had a chance to sit on Santa's lap, decorate an Appaloosa cookie, and make a holiday card. Here are some photos.

They're getting so big, and are SO dang handsome! What fun memories you guys are making.

Dumb question, though-what's an apaloosa?

Aimee,
Not a dumb question at all. ;) An Appaloosa is a breed of horse. It is named after the region we live in...the Palouse (and I learned all of this only recently). There is a museum here in town and that is where we went to see Santa. Hope you and that baby belly are doing well. ;)

Yeehaw! Thank goodness that they're Idaho's state horse, eh? Great pictures!
